Camp Barnabas (Purdy, MO)
Providing individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses with unique Christian camping experiences. Camp Barnabas is a place of hope, acceptance, and limitless possibilities.
Camp MITIOG (Kansas City, MO)
A week-long camp for children aged 8-16 living with spina bifida. Accredited by the American Camp Association, it has been held every summer since 1969. At Camp MITIOG, kids enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature classes, and self-help medical care lessons. The camp takes place at the Lake Doniphan Conference and Retreat Center in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, which provides a wheelchair-accessible environment. If you are interested, you can apply to be a counselor or a camper.
